New Hires Strengthen Agilex’ Position as a Strategic Partner to Leading Agencies

Sept. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- Agilex, a leading provider of mission and technology solutions to the healthcare, national security and public sectors, today announced three new additions to its technology leadership team.  These recent new hires bring extensive experience in strategic consulting and technology management to Agilex.  They will enhance Agilex’ ability to provide clients with targeted IT solutions that advance their organization’s mission while delivering rapid time-to-value.

Chris Ghion joins the company as Vice President for Strategic Health Systems.  In this capacity, he will lead transformative health IT engagements within the Department of Health & Human Services, commercial, and non-profit markets. He joins the firm from Booz Allen Hamilton, where he served as an Account and Systems Engineering Delivery Lead for the Global Health market.

Col. Ron L. Moody, M.D. (U.S. Army, ret.) joins Agilex in the newly-created position of Director of Clinical Systems Development.  He will provide major healthcare organizations and providers with strategic leadership in the development, implementation and operations of enterprise clinical information and electronic health record (EHR) systems.  He joins Agilex from the Military Health System, where he served most recently as Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO).  He has also served as Chief of the AMEDD Enterprise Integration Office and the AHLTA (EMR) program, and as Chief of the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the Eisenhower Army Medical Center.  He is a board-certified family medicine physician.

Thomas Bruno joins as Vice President for Strategic Programs within Agilex’ Technology Innovation Center, which is the company’s in-house research & development organization.  He brings over 20 years of IT consulting and strategy development experience, having led many complex programs and projects that sit at the intersection of business, technology, and public policy.  He is currently leading several major initiatives for Agilex addressing the enterprise mobility requirements of large federal agencies.  He was previously a Vice President and Senior Managing Partner with Gartner Consulting, where he led major engagements in the federal sector.  He has also served with Booz Allen Hamilton, JK Research Associates and TRW.
