In her new role, Dr. Mullare will oversee all clinical and administrative aspects of Walden’s services for treating eating disorders.
Dr. Mullare, who previously served as Associate Medical Director, joined Walden Behavioral Care as a psychiatrist. She is board certified in pediatrics, child psychiatry and adult psychiatry.
She earned her bachelor’s degree at Boston College and completed her premedical studies at Northeastern University before earning her medical degree from Albany Medical College in New York, where she received the school’s James M. Bell, M.D. Award in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She completed the triple board residency program at Rhode Island Hospital, Brown Medical School in Providence. She is certified in EEG neurofeedback training.
Dr. Mullare is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Psychiatric Association, and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She has held many different teaching positions, including serving as assistant instructor and clinical assistant professor of psychiatry and human behavior at Brown University Medical School.
