In 2005 she entered the Rising Star competition which is equivalent to American idol and was among the top six. Since the release of her latest single “Too Dangerous”, word had spread of her great hip hop songs and the persona she showed her audiences. Her vocals are crisp with wide range ability and the beat is hot. She is also very creative with the style of Hip Hop she creates. It’s fresh, exciting, relatable and memorable. Hip Hop has entered a new era and is always evolving. Shari has not only stayed attuned to these changes, she went one step further by creating a new Hip Hop style through her writing abilities, her creativity and her stage performance and her stage presence.
