PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 23, 2011 - BASF Corporation, one of the largest providers of foam insulation products globally, recently completed their shoot for O2 Media’s popular DIY television show “Designing Spaces.”  The segment, which features Michael Sievers from BASF, will air this month on Lifetime Television.  Sievers discusses their innovative spray-applied polyurethane foam (SPF) insulation products.

Sievers explains to “Designing Spaces” viewers how their COMFORT FOAM® insulation adds structural strength to roofs (and walls) and offers homeowners an easy and effective way to fortifying their old and new homes against high-wind events, like hurricanes.

“Knowledge is power,” says Sievers.  “At BASF, we are committed to helping homeowners understand what they can do to protect their family and their home from the destructive forces of nature, like hurricanes. After viewing this episode on “Designing Spaces,” we are sure many homeowners will contact a contractor to see how they too can fortify their existing homes with the closed-cell spray foam.”

In the upcoming episode BASF and ‘Designing Spaces’ will travel to Brandon, Florida to Liberty Manor for Veterans, a home converted into a shelter for homeless veterans.  Connie Blaney, CEO of Liberty Manor for Veterans also joins the show.

Viewers will not only get an ‘education on insulation,’ but also get a first-hand look at the insulation process as BASF helps the veterans by insulating their home with COMFORT FOAM®.
