"We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause and in trying to be good stewards to the Heart Walk and our event we felt that this was a positive and proactive plan of action," Festival spokesperson, Jeff Minton said. "We want to thank you for your understanding and we look forward to seeing you Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the City of Jeffersonville, RiverStage. The Hope Music Festival featuring Addison Road will continue as scheduled."
The updated schedule is:
9AM - 11AM "Dance Your Shoes Off," dress rehearsals
Gates open at 10 AM or immediately after the Heart Walk
Noon - Lunch with Exit 0 Music kicks off
1PM "Dance Your Shoes Off" Video Event
Approximately 4PM - A "Live" sound check by Addison Road
Immediately following Addison Road a joint performance by artist Paige Kissinger and the Taylor Shea Band, featuring "Beautifully Broken."
12 - 10PM Music runs throughout the evening concluding with Artist of the Year, Dove Award nominee Addison Road.
At dusk, a tribute to veterans and 1st responders (a multimedia presentation and the Nation Anthem by Louisville (KY), Pleasure Ridge Park High School Senior Jacob Prewitt and the New Albany (IN), High School Naval ROTC).
The festival will be also previewing "Beautifully Broken," a short film about homelessness.
