AVEVA to deliver Operational Excellence presentation at inaugural CHOA Innovation Series event

Sept. 22, 2011 - PRLog -- Houston, Americas - 21 September 2011: AVEVA (LSE: AVV), a leader in engineering design and information management solutions for the plant, power and marine industries, will be a sponsor and presenter at the upcoming Canadian Heavy Oil Association’s (CHOA) inaugural Innovation Series event in Calgary, AB.

AVEVA’s Paul Halpin, Vice President of Global Business Consulting, will deliver “Achieving Operational Excellence from the Start”. This presentation will examine a new, more effective way of using upfront engineering information management solutions to design, engineer and build assets to ensure their operational reliability and soundness.

This new method combines an information engineering system with an Operational Integrity Management (OIM) strategy that allows Owner Operators and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) firms to deliver capital projects on time and on budget.
