Angel Holdings already have a strong mentor database ready to help these fledgeling companies when they go live mid October. We will be encouraging international investment across all sectors, across the globe. We are in talks with a US company to bring the concept of “internships for start-ups” to Ireland, and beyond. There are a number of complementary projects being formulated and fine tuned as we speak. Angel Holdings want to play a key role in job creation, and increase sustainable innovation. Future projects include looking at entrepreneurship in schools and colleges.
Angel Holdings is inundated with enquiries from start-ups and business angels from countries such as Spain, Australia, USA, Greece, Africa, and other EU countries. It is for this reason, that we have pushed forward our launch date from January 2012 to 14 November 2011. Angel Holdings’ launch date coincides with global entrepreneurship week.
Angel Holdings will offer business angels access to mentored start-ups, who had an opportunity to be guided by qualified business mentors. Start-ups will receive mentoring in their mother tongue where possible, to maximise their experience. Angel Holdings will provide guidance to start-up companies on their business plans, before making these plans available to investors on the Angel Holdings database. This increases the quality of investment opportunities for business angels and vc’s.
“The launch of Angel Holdings is an important step towards narrowing the gap between investors and start-up companies. It levels the playing field when start-ups understand how to present their business ideas in a professional environment, and have an acurate financial value of their companies,” said Adele Hinze, Executive Director. “The launch of Angel Holdings is only the start of its business activities. We plan to branch out to provide other services such as buying and selling companies, have plans to run community projects to encourage entrepreneurship, and much more…”
Irish “Dragons Den” personality & Insomnia coffee, Bobby Kerr, is our speaker for the evening. The venue is Beweleys Hotel, Leapordstown, Dublin, Ireland.
If you would like to attend our launch event, kindly send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the names of attendees by 01 November.
