Kevin Max, multiple award winning graphic novelist Mike Bullock (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_bullock) and renowned artist Tyler Walpole (http://www.tylerwalpole.com/), comes a story of Biblical proportions.  

Fiefdom of Angels (https://fiefdomofangels.com/)  is a comprehensive look behind the scenes of the war that shaped all of heaven, hell and humanity. It follows the dark choices Samael makes along his path to become Lucifer. It chronicles his decent into hell and the experiments that form his legion of demons, dragons, vampires and everything else that gives humans pause when walking alone at night or run chills down their spines as they turn off the lights.

The kick-off of this series is being handled in grand artistic fashion with the unveiling of the #0 Teaser Issue’s cover art in this year’s ArtPrize® (http://artprize.org/) competition in Grand Rapids, Michigan. ArtPrize® is the world’s largest open art competition; it offers the world’s largest cash prize and is determined by popular vote.

Coinciding with the release of the #0 Teaser Issue, the entry showcases just how big this franchise is, as the cover art is being displayed on nearly 60 foot tapestry entitled Michael vs. Dragon (http://artprize.org/artists/public-profile/57871). (Actual dimensions are 54’x25’) It’s hard for ArtPrize® goers to miss, as it hangs off the Grand Rapids Public Library (http://www.grpl.org) exterior wall, in the heart of downtown.  

Along with the release, of Fiefdom of Angels #0 Teaser Issue, series writer and former member of the award-winning music trio dcTalk (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DC_Talk) Kevin Max, is also releasing a soundtrack to accompany the series.  The ArtPrize® entry also includes a QR code linking to a free download of the first track entitled, “Take a Bow.”
