Glass Doctor® of Southeast Wisconsin Technician Competes in Windshield Replacement Competition

Sept. 20, 2011 - PRLog -- Installing windshields is second nature for Pat Kencharek. After all, he’s been in the glass industry for 19 years.

For the last 6 months, Pat has worked at Glass Doctor of Southeast Wisconsin. It’s not a long time, but six months is enough time for Glass Doctor of Southeast Wisconsin owner David Kozlowski to know Pat is an all-star auto glass installer.

So Pat entered into the Pilkington Clear Advantage Technician Olympics to compete against auto glass technicians from all over the world. Together, David and Pat drove over 600 miles to compete at Auto Glass Week™ in Memphis, Tenn. this past weekend.

After replacing a windshield in front of the discriminating eyes of the judges, Pat and David waited to hear the results.

Unfortunately, Pat didn’t win. But that didn’t keep the Wisconsin duo from enjoying their time at Auto Glass Week™.

“Even though Pat didn’t win, we enjoyed every bit of it,” David said. “It was definitely a learning experience for us.”

What a great way to represent Glass Doctor. Better luck next year, Pat! We’ll be cheering you on.
