Utilizing EQ cylinder heads, Gustin's engine was built by Bob Heckt, owner, Heckt Power Products, Dysart, Iowa.

Johnson ran in front from start to finish for his victory in the Stock Car division utilizing the EQ 50cc x 180cc runner heads.

"We congratulate Richie on his record setting performance against a strong field of drivers in the modified division," said Eric Haugland, EQ's national accounts manager.
