Sept. 20, 2011 - PRLog -- Carlisle Events is pleased to announced that Roger Williams, Executive Producer of Discovery HD Theater’s “What’s My Car Worth?” will be on site filming as part of the Fall Carlisle Collector Car Swap Meet, Corral and Auction; one of the largest collector car events in the world to buy, sell and celebrate all things automotive.  Fall Carlisle takes place September 28-October 2 at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds.  Joining Williams will be host Keith Martin of Sports Car Market as well as experts Mark Hyman ,of Hyman, LTD., Peter Klutt of Legendary Motor Cars and Donnie Gould of Auctions America by RM and the nearly 100,000 automotive enthusiasts who come to Fall Carlisle annually.

“What’s My Car Worth?” debuted in 2010 on HD Theater and showcases various types of collector cars.  At Carlisle the crew will be browsing the grounds for cars to buy.  For the show, it’s not just about finding A car, it’s about finding THE car.  Almost every car has a unique story, which sometimes can attach a unique price tag to the ride.  Filming will commence with cameras on the lookout for the following:  Pre-War American Classics, ‘50s and ‘60s American - especially convertibles, European Sports Cars from the ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s, Muscle Cars of all flavors, late-model exotics, including Vipers, Corvettes, Ferraris, Porsches and so much more.

A few criteria must be met to be part of the process, including being part of Fall Carlisle and reaching out to the program itself.  For a chance to have a car sold to the programs’ panel and getting a check on set, contact “What’s My Car Worth?” via e-mail at mycar@whatsmycarworth.tv and in doing so, include information about the car.  Make, model, color and any other pertinent information will aide in consideration.  Finally, be sure to note “Carlisle” in the e-mail subject line for a prompt response.

Regarded as one of the highest rated series on HD Theater, the show shines a spotlight on a diverse range of collector cars and explores their values by tracking auction results.  Carlisle’s production schedule includes panelists Hyman and Klutt offering to buy the chosen car direct from its owner, while Gould attempts to persuade the owner to consign their ride into the auction.  Either way, money WILL change hands at Carlisle and select car owners stand a great chance of selling their car, while being part of a national TV program that will track auction results and sale prices.

“I’m very happy to be part of Fall Carlisle.  It is a thrill to return to Carlisle, Pennsylvania with Carlisle Events and Auctions America by RM,” said Executive Producer Roger Williams.  “Carlisle has been a staple in the collector car hobby for decades and with such great facilities, staff and attendees, the decision to film HD Theater’s highly rated “What’s My Car Worth?” program in Carlisle was an easy one."

“What’s my Car Worth?” is one of my favorite TV shows and having them film during Fall Carlisle is a true honor,” said co-owner Lance Miller.  “We’re excited to host them during one of our largest events of the year and to be able to follow that up with watching the final product in the coming months on HD Theater is just great!”

“Filming of “What’s My Car Worth?” provides a unique opportunity for collectors to gain insight into the market value of their car firsthand from the experts,” noted Donnie Gould, President of Auctions America by RM.  “I’m both honored and excited to be working with the team again and can’t wait to inspect the cars presented before us.”
