Confidence is slowly starting to return to the financial industry following the global recession which has affected millions of people and businesses over the past three years. During the downturn banks collapsed, organisations folded and spending went down.
The Nordic region was not exempt from this, and was in some quarters making the headlines, not least when 300,000 UK savers were frozen out of their accounts as Landsbanki, parent bank of Icesave, went into receivership in Iceland.
