Children of the Caribbean, Inc. Awards it's First COTC Scholarship

Sept. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- Children of the Caribbean, Inc, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization located in Los Angeles, California, awards its first annual scholarship to Mr. Damien Rivers, a national of the Federation of St. Kitts & Nevis.  Mr. Rivers is currently a third year student attending Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma.  

The COTC Scholarship is a needs-based scholarship that is awarded to a Caribbean National/Resident who is enrolled in a college or University that is located in the United States or one of its territories.  Scholarship information and application materials about the COTC Scholarship are available online at www.caribbeanchild.com, or by directly contacting the Scholarship Department of the Organization at (310)651-8317 ext. 501.  The Scholarship is open to eligible applicants from September through May 31st of each year.

Children of the Caribbean, Inc. offers assistance and relief to children across the Caribbean in the areas of Education, Healthcare and Social Development.  It is currently assisting the Cyril Ross Nursery, a home on the island of Trinidad for HIV infected children.
