Sept. 19, 2011 - PRLog -- Today's Caregiver magazine, the nation's longest-running national caregiving magazine and its companion website, www.caregiver.com, announce that its 96th celebrity caregiver cover interview is with Carrie Ann Inaba, judge of the ABC program Dancing With the Stars. Since 1996, each issue of the glossy print magazine has been graced with a cover interview with a celebrity dealing with their own caregiving challenges, working to improve the lives of family caregivers or both.

This week as Dancing With the Stars returns for the fall season, we will once again see Carrie Ann as a thoughtful and fun-loving judge,” states Gary Barg, Editor-in-Chief of Today’s Caregiver magazine and caregiver.com who conducted the interview with Carrie Ann. “But, I think after reading our cover interview, you will also get to see another side to her as a loving family caregiver and advocate for kids dealing with cancer.”  Carrie Ann is the National Celebrity Spokesperson for The Andréa Rizzo Foundation, which provides grants to fund dance therapy programming for children with cancer and special needs.

The digital version of Today’s Caregiver magazine can be viewed at http://www.caregiver.com free of charge.

Among the other cover interviews that Barg has conducted for the magazine are Academy Award winning actress Olympia Dukakis, Former First Lady Rosalynn Carter, Rob Lowe, Barbara Eden, Leeza Gibbons, Delta Burke, Dixie Carter, Clay Walker, Della Reese, Debbie Reynolds, Joe Montana, Dana Reeve, Clay Aiken and Former Senator Bob Dole.
Keynote speakers for the magazine’s 110 Fearless Caregiver Conferences have included Della Reese, Debbie Reynolds, Clay Aiken, Linda Dano, Clay Walker, Leeza Gibbons and Robert Urich.

Barg explains, "The thing I love to see at the events is when you have 400 family caregivers and one celebrity caregiver, you actually have 401 caregivers. Caregiving and love of family is the great emotional equalizer. At the Fearless Caregiver Conference Debbie Reynolds keynoted, family caregivers spent more time talking with Debbie about her mom’s care than about Singing in the Rain.”
