Small Plane Crash Lands in Redlands California - Pilot rescued from the crash

A small plane crashed in the street this morning missing houses near the Redlands Airport.

Sept. 19, 2011 - PRLog -- The small plane crashed this morning just before 9:00 am on Sessums Drive near Redlands Airport.  Just missing nearby houses.  A Good Samaritan was able to rescue the pilot immediately after the downed aircraft hit.  

According to Authorities the small biplane crashed just before 9 a.m. near Redlands Municipal Airport. People who were nearby were able to pull the pilot out of the wreckage.

The pilot was taken to the hospital and condition is unknown at this time.

The photo attached shows the small plane shortly after the Fire department extinguished the flames.
