Quick+Easy Performance Plus is the latest in a line of more than 45 products created and introduced to the market by Bond&Fill company founder Dan Andrade, who also operates sister firm Advanced TrimWright (ATW), a re-manufacturer of PVC products for the construction industry.
One significant difference between Quick+Easy and some of the other Bond&Fill products is that this is a one-part, rather than two-part, product. Andrade said, “Our market research has shown a need for a product that, as you can judge from its name, is very quick and easy to use. This one-part cement application addresses that need.”
The new Quick+Easy is an eco-friendly, one-part special cellular PVC cement designed to bond, fill and repair PVC trim, molding and millwork. Durable and highly adhesive, the product is ideal for filling nail holes and cracks, and does not require an applicator gun for usage. Quick+Easy comes in a re-usable case that protects the product and significantly extends its shelf life.
Andrade and his team believe that Quick+Easy will have a number of applications and see this as a strong fit for the do-it-yourselfer.
Additional features of the new product include:
• Waterproof;
• Bonds to PVC trim, wood, metal and fiberglass
• Can be sanded
• Can be painted
• Interior and exterior use
• Dries quickly
• 18-24 month shelf life
All Bond&Fill products are the creation of Dan Andrade and his research team. Andrade spent 25 years in the construction industry prior to founding Bond&Fill in 2003 and sister company, Advanced TrimWright (ATW), several years earlier. In developing the Bond&Fill product line, his firm spent considerable time in research and development and extensive in-the-field testing prior to release to market. All products are specially formulated to bond, fill, repair, or clean PVC trim, vinyl, wood and aluminum. Andrade says that Bond&Fill will continue to expand its product line. “Our time in the field in the construction industry has given us the market advantage of knowing what products and what formulas will work best,” said Andrade, who notes that sales of Bond&Fill products have increased by 20% over the last year.
“Increasingly, people are turning to PVC as a substitute for lumber in trim, molding and millwork because of its durability,”
The Bond&Fill products are available throughout North America and can be purchased in most hardware stores and lumber yards. Additionally, information about the product and where it can be found is available by visiting www.bondfill.com.
About Bond&Fill and ATW
Bond&Fill, (www.bondfill.com)
Advanced TrimWright (ATW) re-manufactures its products in East Taunton, MA and distributes to more than 250 lumber yards throughout New England. The material offers significant advantages over traditional wood trim; although its appearance is as aesthetically pleasing as wood, it does not carry the disadvantages associated with traditional lumber. PVC material does not rot, corrode, delaminate or swell excessively from moisture, and it is impervious to damage from insects. Applications include homes, commercial structures, historic buildings, churches and other dwellings. The Bond&Fill products have been created to bond, fill, repair and install PVC trim and millwork, among other uses.
