Nicoa Dunne, Stephanie McDilda to Speak about the Benefits of Coaching at NCSHRM Annual Conference
 
Sept. 18, 2011 - PRLog -- Roving Coach International (RCI) partners Nicoa Dunne and Stephanie McDilda will join a host of nationally-known speakers for the 2011 North Carolina Society for Human Resource Management (NCSHRM) State Conference. The NCSHRM event, scheduled for September 28-30 at the Raleigh Convention Center, will feature three days of speakers, state-of-the-art products, and the highest quality services available to the Human Resource industry. Nicoa and Stephanie’s presentation will educate participants about coaching (what it is and is not), its benefits, current data and trends that support coaching as a powerful workplace tool, and the connection between employee engagement and a company’s bottom line.    Nicoa Dunne, RCI’s President and Chief Relationship Rover, brings 16 years of experience in global corporate communications and strategic human resources. A graduate of North Carolina State University, she also holds an M.A. from Ball State University, a certificate in International Business Administration from Charles Sturt University in Australia, and is a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar. Her career includes a background with GE; Thermo Fisher Scientific; and most recently as the SVP of Human Resources for Misys Healthcare/Allscripts A graduate of the Newfield Network, Nicoa coaches at the executive level with Fortune 500 companies and is the managing partner of holland archer, inc., a provider of strategic HR partnership services. Additionally, Nicoa combines her vast experience, straight talk and energetic personality to wow audiences through her affiliation with the National Speaker’s Association.
   Roving Coach Partner and Coach Liaison Stephanie McDilda has helped grow top talent leaders at Nortel, Bank of America, GSK, IBM, and the State of North Carolina over a span of 20 years. Her expertise in designing talent and development programs, combined with her coaching skills, make her a stand-out in the coaching field. In 1993, she started a successful business as a coach, consultant, seminar leader, and motivational speaker, and in 2009 founded Flashpoint International, another successful coaching organization. Stephanie, who holds a Bachelors and two Masters degrees from North Carolina State University, is past president of the Research Triangle Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development, and member of the International and Raleigh Area Coach Federations, has taught reading with the Wake County Literacy Council, and has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity. She is also a contributing author in the book, A Guide to Getting It: Achieving Abundance.
   The NCSHRM Conference is an opportunity for Human Resource professionals from across the state to connect with each other, with government officials, and with conference leaders while learning about the latest HR advances and strategies.
