Blacks Sue Democratic Party for Past Discrimination

" Blacks were ecstatic that their 2008 vote would certainly see the Democrat Party fulfill their commitment to such a loyal and dedicated constituent. They were wrong."

Sept. 17, 2011 - PRLog -- History has shown that the Democrat Party has a long and sordid history of discrimination and mistreatment of blacks. From actions of the Democrat Party that passed Fugitive Slave laws to U.S. Senators using the “N” word, the Democrat Party has not been the protector of freedoms and liberty as it sells itself to the black community. To the contrary, the Party has been rather detrimental to the black community. Nevertheless, the Democratic  Party continues to have a strangle hold over the black vote. At least up until now.

Just as in every other election, the Democrat Party, this time with Obama as its head, once again moved black issues to “the back of the bus” as the Party went about addressing the Party’s interest which were not those of the black community.  The sad reality is that this should not have come as a surprise to anyone even with Obama heading the ticket.

One thing is for certain, in order for Obama to win re-election, he will have to have the black vote and it will have to be in the numbers seen in the 2008 election. Generating enough excitement and action by blacks will be a bit more difficult this time around for any number of reasons not the least of which is the growing dissatisfaction of blacks with Obama’s performance on black issues. With large black unemployment levels and growing levels of poverty in the black community, blacks are beginning to question not just Obama’s ability to make good on his promises but his commitment to fulfilling his promises.
