While the school admits both boys and girls, the girl student enrollment has been steadily rising every year and is presently close to 50% of the total strength which itself is a matter of pride in a state like Rajasthan which had alarmingly low record of girl’s education. On September 15, 2011 which is observed as Engineers Day in India as a mark of respect to Bharat Ratna Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, the Principal advised the students of the school to work hard to become dreamers, performers and achievers to earn name and fame as successful engineers.
On September 16, 2011 which is observed as International Ozone Day, the Principal shared details of the significance of the day and emphasized on the urgent need to protect the ozone layer from getting depleted by use of refrigerators, air-conditioners, fire extinguishers etc containing ODS - Ozone Depleting Substances.
On September 17, 2011 which is observed in India as Vishwakarma Puja in honour of the divine architect and engineer, Principal said that it will be a matter of pride for the school if some student of JMA during his / her life time bags the Vishwakarma Rashtriya Puraskar (VRP) given by the Ministry of Labour Government of India
