Hartlepool dentist shortlisted for national awards

Sept. 16, 2011 - PRLog -- A Hartlepool based dental practice, which earlier this year opened a £1/2million extension, has been shortlisted for two categories in a prestigious national ceremony to be held in London later this year.
Elliott McCarthy Dental Care has been shortlisted in the ‘Most Attractive Practice’ and ‘Practice of the Year – North’ categories for the Private Dentistry Awards which are being held in London in early November.
In March of this year the practice, which is based in the Throston Grange area of the Town, opened a significant extension to its premises creating four new dental suites, new patient waiting areas featuring ‘boutique’ style furniture & wall mounted plasma T.V.’s and patient consultation rooms.
Helen Elliott, Principal Partner said “To be short listed for two categories by such a prestigious industry publication is a vindication of the investment that we have made to create a unique facility for the people of the Hartlepool. Feedback from patients, not only those who have been with us for several years, but also new patients that have been attracted by our facilities has been fantastic, but these nominations are the icing on the cake”
Helen added “we are one of only nine practices, and the only one based in North East England, to be nominated for the ‘Practice of the Year – North’ category so this is a massive achievement in its own right and we will have everything crossed on the 4th November when the winners are announced”.
The practice offers a range of general and cosmetic dental treatments including smile makeovers, teeth whitening and veneers and however whilst the practice has been nominated for the Private Dentistry Awards it does have high number of NHS patients registered, all of whom ‘benefit’ from being seen in some of the most contemporary surroundings in the region.
