Innovative Solution to World Hunger-Steps into the 21st century

Morning Star Fishermen teams up with Facebook and Twitter in their continuing effort to educate communities about world hunger.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 15, 2011 - Non-profit organization Morning Star Fishermen gets a new look, while keeping their nearly twenty year old mission statement, “Give a man a fish and he eats for one day, teach a man to raise fish and grow vegetables and the whole community eats for a lifetime.” To further this mission statement, Morning Star Fishermen (MSF) designed a fresh logo and new website. The website will allow MSF to keep their followers more up to date which includes registration for their aquaponic training classes, links to their Facebook, Twitter, Blogs, and ways to support this charity! Morning Star Fishermen's founder Hans Geissler has begun to revolutionize local communities and foreign countries across the globe. This quote has become a viable life changing experience for many since 1993 when Hans & Sigrid Geissler, Founders of Morning Star Fishermen restored a dilapidated commercial fish hatchery and converted it into an Aquaponics Research and Training Facility. MSF offers short & long term classes that teach students sustainable aquaponics, aquaculture & hydroponics methods with a practical hands-on approach. As students leave Morning Star Fishermen they are able to help themselves or others grow fish along with vegetables in personal backyard systems or larger commercial designs. Along with producing vegetables in water fertilized by the fish, produce grown in soil can also be fertilized with organic ingredients from the nutrient rich water. The viable techniques taught in an individual or group setting enable people to learn about a system for continual reuse.
Visiting their new website at  http://www.morningstarfishermen.org  will definitely encourage readers to take a moment and think about possibilities of beginning a healthy & life changing approach to meet personal and public needs for an affordable and sustainable way of living.
