"I have been a professional photographer for parts of the last five decades,” said Airplanista Editor/Publisher Dan Pimentel, "and I know good digital images when I see them. When John Parker sent me his series of Patty and her Extra 300S over the dramatic California coast, I was stunned. It is rare that I feel this comfortable calling images perfect, but Parker's work is just that. It is hard to find a flaw in this series."
Part of what Airplanista Magazine does each month is present impeccable aviation photography from well-known names in the trade, but also some new talent who the publication's readers may be meeting for the first time. "We elevate aviation photography from eye candy to accompany the written word to the stars of our show. There seems to be some amazing talent out there, and our readers really enjoy these images," Pimentel said.
