FilmWorks Entertainment abandons audiences in Alaska with the adventure film Survive.

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 14, 2011 - Shot on location in Kodiak, Alaska this tense and gripping drama delivers audiences the unforgettable experience of being abandoned in an extreme environment with nothing more to rely on than the people and gear you have with you.  Do you have what it takes to make it out alive?  Because in this film, it takes more than just hope to Survive!

At the end of a late-summer trip in the Alaskan wilderness, four young backpackers find themselves stranded when their chartered airplane doesn’t arrive to pick them up at the scheduled time.  Hundreds of miles away from civilization and with the weather closing in fast, the reality of their situation hits home and they realize they need to take action or face the very real possibility of dying.

Their problems escalate when a member of the group is badly injured, seriously jeopardizing the group’s chances of survival. As the pressure of extreme weather and isolation begins to divide the group, they split up to find a way back to civilization.  Abandoned and alone the group must put aside their differences and band together to make it out alive.  

Written and Directed by Ronald Jerry, the film stars Zack Gold, Ashley Nelson, Luke Aiken, and Bennett Viso.
