Technicians from KarPro learn more about electric and hybrid vehicles

Sept. 14, 2011 - PRLog -- Duncansville, PA – The automotive mechanical technicians from KarPro recently attended a training seminar on electric and hybrid vehicles hosted by General Motors. The technicians were taught valuable information such as different types of voltages each model produces, wiring components, common troubleshooting diagnosis and how to address frequently asked questions from customers.  The training is beneficial to keep the technicians up to date as more hybrid and electric vehicles are produced and to keep repair times at a minimum to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

KarPro is also proud to announce that they have recently improved their diagnostic system capabilities with a $35,000 upgraded system. The new diagnostic system will now be able to troubleshoot mechanical failures for all domestic and most foreign models with more preciseness. “We’re seeing a lot more newer models coming in with complicated electronic and computer modules, thus we needed to be able to keep up with the technology the manufacturers are implementing. We want to ensure that are customers vehicles are repaired in a timely fashion so they can get back on the road quickly” stated KarPro manager Tom McMullen.  

KarPro is open from 8am to 6pm on weekdays and from 9am to noon on Saturdays. Walk-ins and appointments are always accepted.
