Strong Showing Makes Kleinhandler Optimistic Following Primaries

Sept. 14, 2011 - PRLog -- West Nyack, NY - In the race for the 10th District's seat in the Rockland County Legislature, York Kleinhandler has picked up the nomination of both the Republican and Conservative parties with the nomination of the Independence Party and Working Families Party yet to be officially announced.  

"I am honored to receive the nomination of the Republican and Conservative parties and I am proud to represent them and everyone in Rockland County seeking a new voice in government" Kleinhandler stated.  "While the Independence Party and the Working Families Party have yet to announce their nominee, I am cautiously optimistic about receiving both of their nominations based on the numbers released so far.  I believe these results are proof that our community does not want the status quo and we are looking forward to November."

Kleinhandler's opponent, incumbent Chairwoman Harriet Cornell was also seeking the Independence Party and Working Families Party nomination.
