The group is seeking capital through the use of crowdfunding, and offering rewards for support.
Camarillo, CA, September 14, 2011: Three local business owners have joined together to create a dual purpose company. The group includes local entrepreneur and designer, Ryan Gonzales, CSUCI graduate, David Brand, and business owner and artist, Joseph Cool. The company, Made By Bitter, is a unique blend of full service design house, and apparel retailer. The group offers services in web and print design, marketing/advertising, album art, as well as photography for business and musicians. The company is based in Camarillo, and is in the process of raising capital to open a retail location. Made By Bitter is utilizing RocketHub.com, a service in which they can offer rewards in return for “rocket fuel” or donations. The market for start-ups is very unpredictable, so by using crowdfunding as a form of consumer funded capital, the group hopes to achieve traction while distributing their product.
