House-Dance-Techno music lovers across the globe are waiting for the hypnotic release by one of Chicago’s hidden musical treasures Dungeon Muzik.
Chicago, IL, September 11, 2011 - Dungeon Muzik, a division of Lincs Records, is proud to announce the release of its first worldwide EP entitled ‘School’s In Session’ on Wednesday, September 28, 2011.  Dungeon Muzik is a coalition of diversely-talented djs/artists/producers from Chicago’s house music scene.  Even though members of Dungeon Muzik lead separate lives, they managed to collaborate and do what they all love, create a house-style, dance/techno, high-energy driven album.
Dungeon Muzik was formed as a division of Lincs Records in April of 2011 by Matt (Zilla) Gregory.  He is the lead visionary of Dungeon Muzik’s first collaboration album.  Zilla is a founding member and vice president of Lincs Records.  After many years in the house music DJ circuit, Zilla was looking to create a subterranean sound that would move house music to a new level.  “House-electronic-techno-dance music is in my soul.  I wanted to create a record that captured the essence of these genres and had heart-pounding energy,” Zilla said.  Zilla has had the pleasure of working with key players on the house music scene such as Jozana Sithole - Groove Temple single (I remember), Charles Matlock (Isms) and several engineering projects with Glenn Underground.
To help forge the viciously energetic sound and predilection of Dungeon Muzik, Zilla recruited both, veteran and rookie djs/artists/producers from Chicago’s house music scene.  From the number of djs who submitted their music, he handpicked three to bring to life this one-of-a-kind sound.  With the creation of the track “I Jack You”, DJ Snooze, Missing Link, and Zilla managed to forge a unique house-style sound that many house music lovers have come to appreciate.  DJ Snooze on the drum track intertwines elements of surprise while Matt Zilla dropped the funky bass line and synth licks, with the soaring vocals of Missing Link to finish off the ensemble.    Missing Link, who has a passion for creating original music influenced by the elements of early Chicago house music, contributed the “Addiction” track. Last but not least, is Dizzle the rookie and techno sound expert, with her own contribution on the EP “Aladdin’s Robotic Spaceship”.  Her signature sound highlights smooth Techno wizardry geared to satisfy even the most discerning listeners.
Many heavy-hitters are raving the original sounds of “School’s In Session.”  Dee Jay Alicia raved, "I love the track ‘I Jack You’; it has an old school feel with a new school flavor. It takes me back to the Mendel days."
