Panera Bread freshly bakes more bread every day than any other bakery-cafe in the nation, serving more than 16 varieties. Freshly baked breads and bread products form the foundation of the Panera Bread bakery-cafe menu – from breakfast bagels and muffins to sandwiches, hand-tossed salads and soups served in Sourdough Bread Bowls.
With its identity rooted in handcrafted, fresh-baked, artisan bread, Panera Bread is committed to providing great tasting, quality food that people can trust. Highlighted by antibiotic free chicken, whole grain bread, select organic and all-natural ingredients and a menu with zero grams of artificial trans fat, Panera’s bakery-cafe selection offers flavorful, wholesome offerings. The menu includes a wide variety of year-round favorites, complemented by new items introduced seasonally with the goal of creating new standards in everyday food choices. In neighborhoods across the country, guests are enjoying Panera’s warm and welcoming environment featuring comfortable gathering areas, relaxing decor and free Internet access, provided through a managed WiFi network. At the close of each day, Panera Bread bakery-cafes donate bread and baked goods to community organizations in need.
The opening of this franchised bakery-cafe is the thirteenth in the planned growth of Panera Bread in Southern NY, following an opening in Bedford Hills in August 2010. The franchisee Take Home the Bread, LLC plans to open 10 new bakery-cafes in the area over the next five years.
"Opening a new bakery-cafe in the Town of Poughkeepsie, NY, means that we are one step closer to our goal of putting a loaf of delicious, freshly baked bread in every arm across America,” said Tony Diaz, operating partner of Take Home The Bread, LLC, the franchisee. General Manager Vincent Ceccolini will be managing the Town of Poughkeepsie café. Panera is accepting quality applicants at the site.
