Presenters from the Center for Safe Schools will discuss the role that the Internet and social networking play in the lives of students and the implications for these in regard to student safety. Resources will also be available to help schools, communities, and families keep kids safe. School and community members are welcome to attend.
The conference will include Detective Charles Balogh’s keynote address, “Cyberbullying and Implications for Schools,” and two 45-minute sessions.
Session one, “Internet Safety,” features a presentation by Michael Bookser, emergency planning and response management coordinator for the Center for Safe Schools.
