The staff at Elite Ink has vowed to give 100% of the proceeds to the Pink Fund. Last year Team Elite Ink was able to raise $4300 for the Pink Fund by applying small pink ribbon tattoos for a minimum donation. This year will feature three pink ribbon sizes: small, medium, and large starting at $25. This year John Motyka has set a goal of $6000 for his staff. “We wanted to create this exclusive event to help raise Breast Cancer awareness and to benefit The Pink Fund. Early detection is extremely important for women, but many forget to conduct a monthly self exam”.
The mission of The Pink Fund is to provide short-term financial aid to women and men (and therefore their families) that is in active treatment for and recovery from breast cancer. The Pink Fund has been formed to help women (and men) focus on healing, raising their families and returning to the workplace. The Pink Fund will provide short term financial aid during the brief period of treatment and recovery.
