Sept. 13, 2011 - PRLog -- NEW YORK CITY – In an urgent appeal to the international community to “Stop the Killing,” the Coalition of Marginalized People of Sudan will conduct a Rally on Friday, September 16, outside the United Nations, at Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, East 47th St., to protest the ongoing genocide by the Sudanese government against their own people.  “The Most Dangerous Animal,”  a multimedia performance, which includes a powerful, short anti-war film, makes its debut at the Rally against the violence in Sudan.

The Sudan government is currently executing a campaign of ‘ethnic cleansing’ (mass murder) in the Nuba Mountains…and the genocide of the people of Darfur continues. The Coalition represents the Sudanese from the Nuba Mountains, Darfur, Blue Nile, Abyei, Beja, and Nubia areas.  Other human rights activists have also reported violations of electoral procedure and ongoing government attacks that have killed and displaced thousands in recent months.  “It is now in our hands to become the solution, to put an end to the slaughter of our fellow man,” said  Al Sutton, MD, filmmaker and organizer of “The Most Dangerous Animal” performance and movement to “Stop the Killing!”
