Batman's Own Burt Ward Appears on Pet HealthRadio.net Show

(Naples, FL) - HealthRadio's innovative "trimulcast" debut (audio streaming on HealthRadio.net, DrsFosterSmith.com, and PetEducation.com) of its new show, Pet HealthRadio, welcomes actor Burt Ward as its first guest.

Burt Ward, known for years as Batman's trusted sidekick, Robin, is a pet lover who has transitioned from Cape Crusader to Canine Crusader is the FIRST guest to appear on the debut of Pet HealthRadio (September 13th at 3pm EST).

The show is hosted by seasoned talk host, collie breeder and horse lover, Barbara Beach and will feature the veterinarians of Drs. Foster and Smith. In addition to chatting with veterinarians, the show will feature expert guests in the fields of training, travel, breeding and many other areas of interest to pet lovers.

In 1994, Burt and his wife, Tracy, rescued a Great Dane in distress. From this experience, they learned about dozens of other Great Danes also needing homes. They called back to the rescue to learn that two other Great Danes they were looking at had been destroyed.

They vowed to do something about this and created Gentle Giants Rescue and Adoptions, a non-profit organization.

Gentle Giants rescues and adopts more than 1,000 giant breed and small breed dogs each year from all across America. All of their dogs are socialized and behaviorally trained, and live communally together in their home.
