"TOMORROW'S SCIENCE TODAY" nominated for Global eBook Award, reaches #26 on Amazon's Cosmology list

Sept. 13, 2011 - PRLog -- Sometimes I think this isn't really an ebook. It’s more like a jigsaw puzzle disguised as an ebook. And it isn't really my jigsaw/ebook. I started by taking the thoughts of many well-known scientists from their popular books. These include “A Brief History of Time” by Stephen Hawking, "Physics of the Impossible" by Michio Kaku, and “Cosmos” by Carl Sagan. Then I thought - the word "science" comes from the Latin word "scientia", meaning "knowledge". Since my goal is to describe knowledge of ALL time and EVERY part of the universe - no matter how tiny or how vast, whether it's biological or not - I decided it's necessary to merge scientific knowledge with every other form of knowledge. I figured I'd have to try and combine popular science books with philosophy, religions (e.g. Christian, Buddhist, Hindu), things like climate change and the global financial crisis, and (for inspiration) TV shows like Star Trek, Doctor Who, Smallville, and The Big Bang Theory (with its "scientists" Sheldon, Leonard, Raj, Howard - and neighbour Penny).

I believe all my ideas are sleeping in everyone’s subconscious mind. So if I didn’t write my book, somebody else would have. The book in no way reflects the opinions of any one person or group of people. Someone had to assemble the many pieces of this jigsaw, however - and make some mistakes trying to see centuries ahead by studying present-day science. That's where I come in.
