Lexington RimTyme franchise hosts car show for charity

Sept. 12, 2011 - PRLog -- LEXINGTON, Ky. – Sept. 12, 2011 – Supporting local charities is more than a yearly plan for RimTyme of Lexington; it’s a promise. Owner Shawn DiLeo and his staff are staying committed to their giving efforts by hosting a special car show on Sept. 17. All proceeds from the event will go directly to the Hope Center, a non-profit organization that provides shelter, food, clothing and comprehensive life-rebuilding services to at-risk and
homeless individuals.  

“We are more than happy to donate our time and proceeds to the Hope Center because they really make a difference here in Lexington. I personally believe the more people we can we help, the more good it does for the community and our store,” said DiLeo. “It’s all about ‘People Helping People’, which is a motto we live by. Plus, supporting others makes us feel good, and demonstrating a positive image means a lot to our customers.”

Taking place at the Lexington RimTyme store, the car show will feature trophies for each class of vehicles, door prizes, 50/50 raffles, free food and more. DiLeo feels that the event will bring people together for a greater good in the community.

“We’re really excited to get the neighborhood together and lend a hand to those in need through the Hope Center. It will be a great day full of impressive rides and fun for the entire family; best of all, it’s for a good cause,” he said. “Our goal is to showcase a collection of more than 100 cars at the event, so we invite car enthusiasts and dealers to get involved.”
