The couples from SRG’s Maravilla community and Audley’s St Elphin’s Park village met in London on September 7th in London, and now will swap lifestyles to discover the international similarities and differences in retirement living. Muriel and Lou Schloss from SRG’s Maravilla community in Santa Barbara will travel to the UK. Meanwhile, Audley’s couple Tony and Carol Gregory will visit SRG’s Maravilla community in Santa Barbara and The Park Lane in Monterey.
According to Kayda Johnson, SRG chief operating officer, the couples will participate in a variety of social, recreational and educational opportunities as well as tour local sights and scenes during their 10-day visit.
“At SRG, we believe lifestyle is all about choice, independence and savouring daily experiences,”
While the Gregory’s daughter lives in North Carolina and they have visited Florida, this will be the first time the couple has visited California.
“We have also been furnished with details of the proposed itinerary for our visit. It all looks very exciting and there is nothing more we can think of than what is proposed,” said Mr. Gregory.
Likewise, the Schloss’ are looking forward to an equally full itinerary of activities and experiences in England. “Our early California feel is quite different from St Elphin’s Park peaceful, pastoral, stately appearance which we’re looking forward to experiencing,”
“We’re keen to share knowledge with SRG and look at ways we can learn from each other and develop our offerings,” said Nick Sanderson, Audley CEO.
