Sept. 12, 2011 - PRLog -- Hallandale Beach ophthalmologist Stanley Braverman, M.D. F.A.C.S. who founded the Braverman Eye Center in Hallandale Beach in 1981, recently performed cataract surgery on his mother’s second eye and he again put a ReZoom multifocal lens from Advanced Medical Optics (AMO) in her eye.

Cataract is a vision problem that people face when they grow really old. This is a vision impairment where people lose quality of vision and sights are full of dark spots. As known to all when a person ages, eyes also weakens and vision is lost as per their power like some face farsightedness, some face shortsightedness and other such problems. Dr. Stanley Braverman conducted a surgery for his parents, father 92 and mother 89, to cure their vision impairment. Dr. Braverman has adopted few of the latest technologies for this clinic so that the patients are benefited. He himself conducted the operation and it did not take more than 15 minutes to get done perfectly. As per an interview Dr. Braverman has made it a point that he is the first American  ophthalmologist to introduce rezoom lenses and has also implemented more than 2000 multifocal lenses. Rezoom lenses are like a revolution that helps a patient of cataract to focus only on one single distance vision power. We all know that till now patients with various vision problems are helped with suitable spectacles condition and are helped to cover the natural power of vision that they have lost with growing ages or other reasons that has weakened the eyes.

There are lenses available in the market that corrects different vision problems like myopia, hyper-myopia, metropia and other such defects.
