When agents enter a listing into eBrokerHouse they are supplied a unique web address for that listing that they put in their MLS offer instructions. When a buyer’s agent visits that link they are able to easily enter basic offer details and attach a copy of their client’s offer. The whole offer and negotiation process is managed online which makes it very transparent, organized, and simple for all parties involved.
eBrokerHouse CEO Alan Fenn says: “Offer submission has become the most coveted feature of our system because it saves our members so much time and allows them to stay very organized no matter how many offers they are managing. We have eliminated the need for agents to receive offers via fax or email or to have to manage offers in physical or email folders which can be quite cumbersome. This automated offer process is changing the real estate market. Within the next 2-3 years I believe the majority of offers nationwide will be submitted in this manner. eBrokerHouse is at the forefront of this technology and we are paving the way for agents to operate a truly paperless business.”
The online offer submission and management process is very simple and works for all types of listings including traditional, short sale, and REO listings. It is especially useful for listings with multiple offer situations. The list agent can see all offers submitted on a particular property in one location online. Offers can be responded to, countered and amended online by both the listing agent and selling agents.
Another time saving bonus of the offer submission process is that list agent is able to email all buyer’s agents that have submitted an offer on a listing with just one message. This way our users do not have to spend time constructing individual emails to every agent that has submitted an offer to them. This is especially useful when requesting a highest and best offer, sending out an addendum, or rejecting many offers at once.
Fenn says he expects the amount of offers submitted through eBrokerHouse to keep increasing at a very rapid pace as more and more agents are becoming familiar with the eBrokerHouse system. He estimated that they will see nearly 250,000 offers submitted through their system over the next year.
