The results of the month long poll was that 78% of the people asked said they would be more likely to purchase an item when money off or a percentage off is being offered. Free shipping and Free gifts came in with just 11% of the vote each meaning people would rather save money and wait a little longer for their product then get a discount and would rather chose a cheaper shipping option. Customers would also prefer a cheaper product overall than a full price product with any extra bonuses or gifts thrown in. As customers get more savvy in this economic climate this could be leading to the rise in customers trying to save pennies wherever possible.
