Announcing the inaugural DollObservers.com Fashion Doll Awards 2012

Sept. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- DollObservers.com, the social networking site for fashion doll lovers, is delighted to announce the launch of its first annual Fashion Doll Awards. What better judge of the modern fashion doll than those who adore and avidly collect them. Therefore it is only logical that DollObservers.com should give its discerning members and visitors the chance to do just that.

The DollObservers.com Awards will focus solely on the fashion doll world and there will be 10 categories in all. Each category will capture the best of the last year’s fashion doll industry, including dolls, fashions, designers and retailers. Winners will be announced at a ‘gala’ online event on 19th February 2011. This will also mark the second anniversary of DollObservers.com and the awards are set to become a hotly anticipated annual event amongst the fashion doll community.

Simon Farnworth, community manager and creator of DollObservers.com is quoted as saying, “It is a privilege to serve the members of DollObservers.com and I know of no better community to know the fashion doll world well enough to decide our winners”.

The call for nominations commences on 19th September 2011 with voting for the eventual winners beginning on January 2nd 2012. As previously stated, the winners will be announced on 19th February 2012 during an exclusive online event. More information can be found at http://dollobservers.com/awards
