Magazine Editor Takes on Greater Challenges as AIA Dallas Seeks to Energize Architecture Community

AIA Dallas increases the responsibilities of Columns’ managing editor, Linda Mastaglio, to help strengthen the magazine’s notability as a reputable architecture design resource.

Sept. 9, 2011 - PRLog -- DALLAS, TX (www.AIADallas.org ) – The American Institute of Architects (AIA) in Dallas announces that Linda Mastaglio, who has served as the managing editor of their Columns magazine for the past five years, will take on a significantly larger role as the association seeks to increase the visibility and viability of its art and architectural publication.  

Mastaglio’s efforts will extend beyond traditional print publication management as she improves upon and expands editorial possibilities. In addition to Mastaglio’s current duties, new responsibilities include re-packaging of articles for multiple uses, developing an online version of the magazine, and coordination of multiple media platforms, including video, podcasts, and other web-exclusive content.

Mastaglio also serves as a member of AIA Dallas’s newly created Columns Advisory Board (CAB), consisting of art and architectural industry experts in North Texas. These editorial advisors seek to infuse the publication with creativity and energy as it focuses on providing readers with a refreshing approach to the architectural design profession.  
Columns is a four-time award winning quarterly publication produced by the Dallas Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and is the premiere arts and architecture magazine in North Texas.
