Ashworth College supports local American Cancer Society and Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Ashworth College announced plans to support the American Cancer Society and Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Georgia based online school will field a team for the 3 mile fundraising walk Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Saturday, October 29.
 
Oct. 1, 2011 - PRLog -- NORCROSS, Georgia –  “Ashworthy Causes”, Ashworth College’s (http://www.ashworthcollege.edu) community service initiative, has announced plans to support the American Cancer Society and  Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The Georgia based online school staff will support a team for the 2011 three mile fundraising walk Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk on Saturday, October 29.

“We look forward to participating in this annual event,” said Cerise Lake, Ashworth’s Human Resource Administrator.  “It’s a great opportunity to spend time with co-workers, meet new people, and give back to the community at the same time.”

Throughout the year, Ashworth makes a concentrated effort to support a number of worthwhile causes, including Habitat for Humanity, Atlanta Community Food Bank, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, the American Red Cross, The Salvation Army, and March of Dimes.
