Need Help Writing Competitive Research Proposals for Framework Programme 7?

Sept. 9, 2011 - PRLog -- In July 2011, the European Commission launched its largest round of Research and Innovation funding to date through the Framework Programme 7. Grants are expected to rise further in the next two years. This represents an excellent opportunity to apply for European funding for collaborative projects but applications are highly competitive.

As the latest addition to the Idox Information Solutions CPD-accredited suite of training courses, the Writing Competitive Research Proposals for FP7 is designed to give attendees detailed advice on how to write a highly competitive proposal and build a strong European consortium. The course is ideal for anyone who is considering applying for FP7 funding and wants to learn how to improve their bid and understand the criteria to succeed in Framework Programme 7.

The course will take place on Tuesday, 25 October 2011 at the Idox offices at Chancery Lane, London and is priced at an introductory rate of £195 plus VAT per person, which includes lunch and light refreshments during the day and covers the costs of course material.

This new course will be led by Ritchie Head. Ritchie was previously Director of a Regional Contact Point for FP6/7 where he built a team of five consultants. In the first three years of FP7 they supported over 120 proposals. Prior to this he worked as a Research Manager at TNO in the Netherlands where he was highly successful at winning European grant funding. He has also worked as a researcher for a Biotech SME in Iceland, and as a Research Assistant at two UK Universities on European Commission Framework Programme projects.
