Follow on Google News | Peterborough owner Darragh MacAnthony confirms there will be a minute silence for September 11Peterborough United return to competitive action on Saturday with a home fixture against Nigel Pearson's Hull City at London Road (3pm).
By: News FTUK It is 10 years since the tragic events and we ask all present in the stadium to observe a period of silence just before 3pm. The game against the Tigers sees the return of fans favourite Aaron Mclean, although he may not keep his place in the starting line-up following the arrival of Martyn Waghorn. Darren Ferguson utlised Monday's game at St. Albans to give Emile Sinclair, Daniel Kearns, Ben Gordon, Josh Thompson and Nicky Ajose a game and all pushing for a start. TEAM NEWS Injury-wise, Posh are just without Dave Hibbert for the game. Joe Lewis is fit again and available for selection with Ferguson revealing that the squad only have 'one or two knocks' to contend with. Martyn Waghorn could be in line for a start after joining from Leicester City ahead of the transfer deadline. James Chester spent time on-loan at London Road while Jack Hobbs was a local lad. MANAGER QUOTES 'I have a lot of time for Nigel Pearson and his staff at Hull City, they play football the right way and have brought in some good young players, following the example of other clubs like ourselves. It will be nice to see Aaron Mclean again and I will shake his hand afterwards, as long as he has done us no damage in the game,' Ferguson said. MATCH DAY MAGAZINE The match day magazine has exclusive interviews with Dean Keates and Emile Sinclair while Aaron Mclean also chats about his time at Posh and at the KC Stadium. We also have an exclusive column from Talksport's Adrian Durham which is well worth a read. The 100-page magazine will be available from around the stadium priced at £3. End
