All this leads to the conclusion that it is necessary to build mechanical ventilation in the buildings we live, work, study and spend most of our lives in.

The processes of heating and cooling of the air and the ventilation are connected with some costs. Air exchange systems should be built, systems for heating the air in winter and cooling it in summer, should be installed, there are maintenance and last but not least energy costs. Over the last decade there has been gradual, but steady increase in energy prices.
Energy consumption costs money and often leads to environmental pollution and exhaustion of the natural resources. The negative effects of greenhouse gases, as a result of high energy consumption are becoming more and more significant.

There are three preconditions for installation of heat recovery units:

Calculation the costs of different ventilation systems has determined that systems with heat recovery units are the technically and economically justified solution. The payback time is from 1 to 3 years and the main factor that determines it is yearly running time of the installation.
