Snell & Wilmer Partner Appointed to National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws

Sept. 8, 2011 - PRLog -- LAS VEGAS – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Greg Brower, a partner in the firm's Reno and Las Vegas locations, was recently appointed to the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws (also known as the Uniform Law Commission or "ULC").

Established in 1892, the ULC provides states with model legislation intended to bring clarity and stability to critical areas of state statutory law.  Commissioners include practicing lawyers, judges, law professors, legislators and legislative staff from around the country.

Brower’s practice is focused on complex civil and white collar criminal litigation, as well as corporate investigations and administrative law. Prior to joining Snell & Wilmer, Brower served in a variety of senior government posts. From 2003 to 2004, he was with the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. He later served at the U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO), first as Inspector General and then as General Counsel. In 2007, he was appointed as U.S. Attorney for the District of Nevada by President George W. Bush and served in that capacity until September of 2009. He currently serves as a member of the Nevada State Senate.
