This summer, national beverage industry publications Beverage World and Beverage Spectrum gave XYIENCE Xenergy major recognition. Xenergy was also named a finalist in two competitions for energy drink of the year, including CSP’s 2011 Retailer Choice Best New Products.

In June, Beverage Spectrum featured XYIENCE athlete and UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon “Bones” Jones on its cover, and called XYIENCE Xenergy a “knockout.”
Beverage World named XYIENCE Xenergy a 2011 Breakout Brand on the cover of its June 2011 issue. The article notes the brand’s following among fitness enthusiasts and young athletes and its growing popularity because of its partnership with the UFC. Editor Heather Landi also says, “Xenergy has really gained ground in just the past two years and is now on the fast track thanks to distribution deals with national retail chains like Circle K.”
CSP Magazine, a leading business publication for convenience retailing and food service, named XYIENCE Xenergy Xtreme Fruit Punch an energy drink category finalist in CSP’s 2011 Retailer Choice Best New Products Contest. The award recognizes the top products introduced into the convenience store industry over the past 12 months in 24 categories. Xenergy Xtreme Fruit Punch launched in February 2011 and made it to the final round after being judged on criteria that included taste, value, health, ingredients and packaging.
In addition, XYIENCE Xenergy was nominated for Energy Drink of the Year in the 2011 Bodybuilding.com Supplement Awards. The winner will be selected by online votes and announced at the Bodybuilding.com Supplement Awards on Friday, Sept. 16, at Mr. Olympia in Las Vegas.
In other news, Beverage Industry Magazine’s Jessica Jacobsen notes the arrival of XYIENCE Xenergy’s collector cans featuring UFC stars such as Dan “The Outlaw” Hardy and Jon “Bones” Jones in the Aug. 2011 issue.
