Live Bluegrass Music at Creekside Festival October 8 & 9

Sept. 8, 2011 - PRLog -- In October music aficionados throughout Northeast and Central Florida will have a rare chance to hear and see some of the area’s best bluegrass bands live at the Creekside Festival.  

Held along the stunning shores of Pellicer Creek, the Creekside Festival is an annual traditional that attracts 17,000 guests each year for family-friendly activities, food, arts & craft vendors, live entertainment and more in a serene natural setting.  This year’s entertainment line up is sure to please, with six talented acts scheduled over two days.

In addition to live music, the festival will feature an expanded arts and crafts area with vendors, crafts and activities for the kids, a delicious selection of food offerings, demonstrations by local artisans and an amateur photography exhibition, as well as kayak, birding and walking tours.  The Third Annual Flagler Green Expo is once again part of the Creekside Festival, bringing with it environmentally conscious guests eager to learn about the latest in green products and services.

The Creekside Festival and Flagler Green Expo will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 9 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 10. Admission is $3 per carload.  Visit www.flaglerchamber.org or call 386.437.0106 for more information.
