Mertech Data Systems Introduces DocuMentor 2.0; Adds Ability to View Source Code

Sept. 8, 2011 - PRLog -- Being able to view the source code was one of the feedback items we heard from the developers. In the new version, developers will be able to view every piece of code used by their application in the context it is used. DocuMentor now profiles all the source included DataFlex system packages and stores it inside the report. Now if a user sees a particular field in the database is used in a particular module at a particular line, they can click on the line number and will be able to go to the line number in the source.

Companies can use this new feature in multiple ways:

a. Train new developers without giving them new source
b. Give the DocuMentor report to contractors to get accurate time estimates of changes and modifications
c. Capture a snapshot of the source and architecture in one place
