Sept. 8, 2011 - PRLog -- You will have the opportunity of meeting two of our franchisees who are taking part in the Franchisee Panel. This event enables you to find out at first hand from experienced franchisees who have made the transition from being employed to working for themselves.

Friday 13.30-14.15. Adrian Burton
Walsall-based Adrian Burton joined Auditel in April 2008. Adrian’s experience was in business software solutions. He says: “Since joining Auditel I have put all my skills to good use working with a variety of organisations. These include care homes, charities and retail organisations. I have provided significant savings and advice across a wide range of overhead categories.”

Saturday 10.30-12.15. Claire Power-Browne
Claire Power-Browne joined in March 2009 and partners Steve Ray who signed up in December 2007. Prior to Auditel, Claire worked for a UK charity as the Overseas Programme Manager responsible for a wide range of projects based in Eastern Europe. Claire says: “Since becoming an Auditel Consultant, I have been able to use my previous experience and expertise for the benefit of clients, saving them time and money and adding profit to the bottom line by properly managing costs.”

Edward Brewer, Auditel’s Business Development Manager, will be presenting two very useful topics:
Friday 14:30 - 15:00 - Franchising - the ideal opportunity for self employment
Saturday 14:00 - 14:30 - In business for yourself, but not by yourself

Last month, Auditel signed their 200th franchisee and are now the UK’s largest cost and purchase management franchise. They have achieved significant industry recognition over the past two years. In addition to being finalists in the Franchise Marketing Awards for Best Franchisee Marketing Support and Best Website, they were also nominated as a finalist in the prestigious HSBC Franchisee Support Award. This award, which is sponsored by the British Franchise Association (bfa), is given to the franchisor providing an exceptional foundation to their franchisees and the best possible environment for success.

Newcomer Simon Eggleton lives in Buckinghamshire with his wife and 3 children. He came from a background as Head of Information Solutions for a major communications network. Simon recalls: “Having conducted due diligence into many franchises and stand-alone businesses, Auditel remained my benchmark against which I compared the others. In the final analysis, Auditel offered a business opportunity that would leverage my skills, provide me with flexibility and deliver the sort of returns I aim to get from my new business. I also felt the people I met had integrity and are the sort of people I would happily work with.”

Head of Marketing, Laurence Knott: “Now is the time for any management professional who is seeking a career change to approach us. Our higher earners enjoy an income of over £200k. Our Free Discovery Seminars  give an indication of what may be achieved to provide financial, business and personal satisfaction.”

The Auditel concept was developed on the premise that all organisations pay for essential services. Utilities and telecommunications are two of those costs and when many essential service sectors underwent deregulation in 1991 it opened up these industries to competition. UK companies could shop around for the best prices from new providers entering the market.
The ever changing range of services available meant that many organisations did not know where or how to identify savings. The main problem is that few organisations have enough time or resources to track invoices, question charges and ensure quality of service from suppliers.
In 1994 Auditel was launched to offer a solution, a cost and purchase management consultancy that could focus independently on the essential services to cut through the confusion that UK businesses were facing.
Since this time Auditel has been training professionals into self employment and is now the leading cost and purchase management franchise.
