From burglars that learn when you are home, pedophiles learning what they need about their targets, or credit collectors looking for clues about your life the Internet can be a privacy nightmare. RDKfamily fixes that by letting you decide who to share your life's details with.

RDKfamily will become even more useful as the holidays are approaching rapidly. It will give you the ability to coordinate events and learn what other members of the group prefer. For example, you might set up a poll about which park do people prefer to have a Thanksgiving picnic at, have a discussion about who will bring the hotdog buns, and then create a calendar event so people know the details. But, of course, the public won't know anything about the picnic unless you use another social network.

RDKfamily is different from other social networks because it will focus on good-old-privacy. This network will consist of small groups dedicated to respecting the privacy of the individuals in the group. It will feature the capabilities of sharing pictures, audio files (song or voice), carrying on conversations, and organizing events with each other. Instead of focusing on getting more "friends" or "followers", each group will be small and tightly related. Members of your group are friends and relatives you already know, and people you already are willing to share your life's details with.

There will be many capabilities featured on this site. Picture sharing will only be done between members of a group. Pictures marked as private can not even be seen by others. Discussion forums can be marked as private too. That way, families can share photos and messages that the rest of the world doesn't need to see. Parents and grandparents can share the pictures of their grand-children without the thoughts that you are pinning it to a public bulletin board.

The fees for paying customers will be based on the size of the group, 1-5 users will cost $12 per month with a 30 day trial period. Anybody that signs up during the BETA period people will be given a 90 day trial.
